I’m soooo Chuffed. I’ve had all five of my marine paintings excepted today for exhibition in the Royal Miniatures Society 2013 Exhibition.
They will be on show and for sale at the Mall Galleries on the Mall in London, near Admiralty Arch. I’m so excited and can’t wait to see the full exhibition that opens next week.
The official opening by Michael Portillo is on Wednesday 16th October 2013 and runs for two weeks.

Well I’ve painted another five miniatures for the Royal Miniature Society and took them up to the hand-in day on Sunday. Will have to wait until late Wednesday to find out if they’ve been excepted for the exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. The exhibition starts on Wednesday 16th October 2013 and runs for two weeks. If you get time it is very well worth a visit as you will get to see some amazing miniature paintings of extremely fine portraits, beautiful landscapes, delicately painted pets & animals, silhouettes, detailed country life scenes and marine seascapes. See you there, maybe?

I am so chuffed at getting 7 paintings excepted for the Guild Artists Exhibition in Harrogate this weekend. You can seen the whole exhibition at The Art and Framing Convention UK in the Swan Hotel?? on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2013.

Well……. I was completely surprised!! I sold three of my five miniature paintings at the RMS yearly exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. The three I sold where: Sunset at Newtown Creek, Asgard II off Weymouth and Annabel J passing Portland Bill.

Went up to the official opening of the Royal Miniature Society’s 2012??Miniatures Exhibition on Wednesday at the Mall Galleries (near Admiralty Arch, off Trafalgar Square). I was so chuffed to find they had excepted all five of my miniature painting entries for this years exhibition and when we arrived I discovered they had already sold my little “Sunset over Newtown Creek” watercolour. What a lovely suprise. The exhibition is on for two weeks and is running alongside the Society of Marine Artists Exhibition. There are loads of fantastic pictures to see if you can get along to the Mall Gallery.??A bit later on I’ll??list below some images of the miniatures I sent up. Hope you find them interesting.

I’ve just released a limited edition print of a sunset over the old Poole power station. I thought this would be of interest because it is now the sight of the new Twin Sails Bridge in Poole.

Here is my latest commission of Lulworth Cove on Dorset’s Jurassic Coastline.
Loved the challenge of this painting. Plenty of texture in the cliffs and loved getting the effects of water ripples in the sea as the tide came in. Also had fun with the reflections on the water.
